Oxford Boys, Ocean Spring Girls Rise Top Of Class 6A

The depth of the Ocean Springs girls was on display at the 6A state cross country final at Choctaw Trails. A year after placing third, the Greyhounds put five runners in the top eight (3-4-6-7-8) for 28 points. 

Second-place Hernando (48 points) got a 1-2 finish up front with Jessica Cartwright winning in 18:41.5 and Riley Jackson next at 19:17.4. 

The Oxford boys got an individual victory from senior Luke Johnson (15:54.1) and a team victory with 86 points.
