Oxford Boys, Ocean Spring Girls Rise Top Of Class 6A By Doug Binder, DyeStat Editor The depth of the Ocean Springs girls was on display at the 6A state cross country final at Choctaw Trails. A year after placing third, the Greyhounds put five runners in the top eight (3-4-6-7-8) for 28 points. Second-place Hernando (48 points) got a 1-2 finish up front with Jessica Cartwright winning in 18:41.5 and Riley Jackson next at 19:17.4. The Oxford boys got an individual victory from senior Luke Johnson (15:54.1) and a team victory with 86 points.
